It very well made case with plenty of protection.
Good bumper protection and on top and bottom good lip the protect if it note 8 falls on its face to protect the screen.
Wish the edges had higher bevel protection more than it has which make it even better .
Still good case. Recommend if your looking for would case that will give good protection .

If you take the plunge to buy the note you need the best protection for it. UAG cases are by far the best you can buy, i get them for every phone i have and lets be honest the phone is not cheap. i like the look and feel of these covers and they give you by far the best protection you can get!

This is my fifth UAG case for various family phones. They are fantastic the phone has bounced down the street many times and phone is unscathed. The new case for Note 8 is expensive but worth it although I think the leather inserts are not required. Mobilefun is a great company and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great quality gives me peace of mind that my phone has good protection but wish it came with a screen protector to help prevent scratches as I will now buy one to give it full protection.

Great looking case that looks and feels premium. It doesn't add to much bulk to the phone. Has good grip so won't slip from your hands. It has a decent lip that protects the note 8 display. The power, volume, bixby buttons are textured and easy to press.
I haven't tried drop testing it, but i'm confident the case will protect it :P
Overall it's one of my favorite cases for the note 8.
It's bit pricey so if you don't want to spend too much on case but still want good protection, check out the plasma series. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed with Monarch

The UAG frames your phone beautifully and offers very good protection. I have both this & the Otterbox defender. The Otterbox adds more width to the phone & looks bland in comparison to the UAG, however the Otterbox offers a higher level of protection. This is down to a lockable 2 part inner polycarbonate case & a substantial rubber outer. The Otterbox feels more grippy and wont get scratched when laid down on a surface. The lips that protect the glass are more prominent also. I find the rubber sides of the UAG (designed for grip) to be slippy in comparison. The glass protecting lips are not as protruberant on the UAG as they are on the Otter but still pretty good. The metallic looking colourful back of the UAG looks like it will scratch over time, so care needs to be taken.
Advice would be - If looks are an important trade off, the UAG is the choice. It frames the phone beautifully and offers higher end protection. If you're phone is going to have a rugged life, the Otterbox is the only sensible option. If I had to drop my phone 4ft onto concrete just once, I'd fit the Otterbox over the UAG, but in reality, I have the UAG fitted as it looks so much better and my lifestyle isn't that 'rugged'.
With a Note 8 coming in around £900, it would be madness to skimp on case quality.
Note - Whitestone Dome glass is incompatible with either afore mentioned cases in my experience with Note 8.

I was horrified when my note 8 slipped out of my pocket falling 30 feet directly onto concrete while I was climbing a ladder at my construction site. After I checked up on my phone I noticed just a minor scuff on the bottom right of the case but surprisingly my phone was perfectly fine even the tempered glass didn't fly off it suffered minor scraps but the phone it self was mint. Great case without the bulk deffenitly a good buy.
