The holder is very compact meaning that it does not jut out too far when used on a dashboard face. Initial impressions is that it holds on well. Worth considering if you want to avoid a bulky holder.

I owned this phone holder before. A friend borrowed it, and let's just say, my friend gets pretty physical. She broke it. I had had a long and happy ownership, and had no concerns about the robustness of the holder.
It was no longer available from Amazon. I bought a different one. Nothing matched the compactness of this one though, and I like to have one in my bag, just in case some unexpected driving happens (you'd be surprised how quickly driving can pop up).
So I bought it from MobileFun. They shipped it in a couple of days. I would buy from them again.

Sticks to the window nicely but wobbles alarmingly when I go over bumpy roads. Arms just about fit my iPhone 8 with a case, just needs a bit of careful encouragement to get it there. I love the amount of rotation provided so that it sits well on a very steep sloped window.

This holder requires 2 hands to put a phone in. Even then its hard to do. I have a Samsung A50 which is quite wide and the spring on the holder is pretty strong, so its just awkward to use. Also with the height of the phone and slope of the windscreen the phone hits the window and site pointing down towards the floor too much to see it well. I'm going to buy a genuine Samsung universal holder. I had one from years ago that broke and thought this would be ok. Its not.
