Not great locking mechanism when in cup holder

The holder is not secure when it’s in the cup holder, the open/ close mechanism became tight when trying to increase its size to lock in the cup holder

Works pretty sweet, but a couple things arent right with it.
Firstly they need to change the wattage on the power LED, at night time it half blinds you with how bright it is.
They need to make the base deeper to provide a better fit, and the USB connector needs a tighter fit, it rattles out when looking at it, driving with it doesnt work.
The phone locking system works well, and its release system is really good.
Would be better to have a more powerful charge system, it doesnt work well through cases.

Good holder for money. The only downside is it said that it was suitable for Samsung galaxy z flip, but not a perfect fit as needs a bit of foam under probe to bring it level with wireless charger sensor.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S7 in an Otterbox Defender case. I currently use a dedicated wired mount but wanted to use the wireless charging as this allows me to upgrade my phone in the near future without having to buy a dedicated mount.
Rather than a windscreen mount I decided to try this cup holder mount, as there's no danger of it blocking the field of view, and to date it's proving ideal. Charges through the Otterbox Defender case, the mount is out of site, and will make it easy to upgrade my phone whenever I want.
