This is a really nice looking case, it adds barely any bulk to the phone. It has a slight lip on the front so it’s not sitting on the screen when you leave it face down.
The buttons on the sides work perfectly & getting to the silent button is fine.
The clear see through back isn’t perfectly clear, there’s tiny dots covering the plastic but you can still see the back nicely. I think you’ll see the white phone better. Mine is the dark iPhone X.
It is a bit fiddly to get on, I watched an online video from the maker (Ghostek) on how to fit it, they make it look easy but it’s more difficult than they made it seem.
The case is made of two layers, the soft jello type plastic & then a more rigid plastic frame. To tell you the truth it seems VERY rigid, the inner layer is pretty hard & it doesn’t really look like it would hold up well in a drop, as I’d like the inner layer to be softer for shock. But Ghostek is a great brand & I trust that it will protect the phone in a drop.
The coloured frame has a really nice feel to it, making holding on to it really easy, the clear back doesn’t appear to be very scratch resistant, there’s fine scratches on mine after a weeks use. You can’t really see them in daylight but you can at night under lights. I’d suggest you put the case under the tap & give it a good wash then dry it with a microfibre cloth before putting it on for the first time.
All in all I’m very happy with the case, it looks great, adds no size at all to the phone & hopefully it’ll hold up well in a fall.
