Gravity mechanism works OK, though I have an SE iPhone which is relatively small & light. Suction cup is a bit temperamental - It's fallen off a couple of times, fortunately without the phone in!

my phone is the Galaxy S22 Ultra (big phone) so you have to lean the holder down to get the phone in and out otherwise is catches on the windscreen and the phone doesnt stand up perfectly flat when in position.
like i said though this is just minor,
the holder is probably the best one ive had so far and ive had a few. excellent build quality and no silly cheap plastic clips to press to release the phone, just simply slides in and out.

Can't be mounted on the windscreen if the phone is tall and the windscreen rake is shallow. The top of the phone hits the windscreen with the phone still pointing down at the floor.
